JACK ZANINOVICH
MEMORIAL PRESERVE SYSTEM
Jack Zaninovich of Delano was a long time Conservancy volunteer and friend. Under his leadership, three unique nature preserves were acquired in the 1960s - Sand Ridge, Pixley & Paine. In his honor, these sites are now designated the Jack Zaninovich Memorial Preserve System. The Conservancy is continuing its work to protect the best natural sites in the San Joaquin Valley.

This Preserve was established by the Nature Conservancy with the help of generous contributions from its donors and members. The Nature Conservancy is an international, nonprofit membership organization that preserves plants, animals and natural communities representing the diversity of life on earth by protecting the land and waters they need to survive.
